‘Right to Know Day’ is celebrated on 28th of September at the international level. India has been celebrating RTI day on 12th October each year. This is the day on which Right to Information Act, 2005 came into force. TII celebrates RTI day every year and conducts activities such as varied competitions in schools, campaigns to raise awareness among people, training for public sector undertakings, launching reports on various anti-corruption and good governance issues etc.
